Roanoke, VA – Kissito Healthcare is excited to announce new additions to the Kissito Healthcare leadership team and corporate office. These additions bring years of skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience to the Kissito team and benefits the residents, families, and employees in our communities.
Kourtney Pennington has joined Kissito Healthcare as Director of Operational Reimbursement. She has worked in long-term care (LTC) for the last 10 years; serving on the front-line as a nurse aide, activities aide through college—working up to a Nursing Home Administrator. She has four years of experience in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing).
She earned a bachelor’s in business administration emphasizing in healthcare and a master’s in health care administration both through Marshall University. Pennington is a Quality Certified Professional (QCP) and Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) and holds a license as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of West Virginia. She serves on the Medicaid Advisory Board for West Virginia.
Jessica Ferguson joins Kissito Healthcare as the Director of Revenue Cycle and has more than 12 years of skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience. Throughout the course of her SNF career, Ferguson has worked as the Business Office Manager, Regional Office Trainer and as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management.
She has had a passion for seniors and been an advocate for senior rights since her great grandmother resided in a SNF in 1996.
