Senior health has been the core focus of Kissito Healthcare (KHC) ever since its inception in 1989. We believe a senior health mission requires an open minded and sometimes unconventional approach to meet the needs of our aging senior population. This approach has led us down many paths and has allowed us to evolve from a traditional nursing home organization to a diversified senior health organization that pushes the envelope on models of care, new innovative techniques to care delivery, and an ever-evolving mindset of how to deliver care and support to seniors. Two of our eight facilities have received Five-Star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services rating system for health inspections, staffing, and quality measures.

Five KHC centers have been recognized by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) for quality care. The Brian Center Alleghany and the Brian Center Botetourt received the National Quality Bronze Award from AHCA/NCAL.

Other KHC centers have received recognitions for care provided to their residents, families, and communities.
